The basics
What is TAG, and is it legitimate?
TAG (Technical Authentication & Grading) is a US-based grading company operating since 2015. Instead of a person eyeballing your card, TAG uses patented computer-vision technology to score it on a 1–10 scale, seals it in a crystal-clear slab, and provides a digital grading report you can scan and verify. Every graded card has a public certificate anyone can look up. Fully legitimate and recognized internationally. See it at taggrading.com and their grading scale at taggrading.com/pages/scale.
Why grade through the collectible store?
We’re an official TAG partner, so you skip the US accounts, international shipping, and customs. You get local drop-off, careful handling and documentation, your own tracking, and a real person to talk to. We submit in bulk, which is simpler and safer than going it alone.
Why TAG and not the other big grader?
Two reasons. First, no value-based upcharges — TAG charges one flat fee per card no matter how valuable it is, while the other major grader charges more as your card’s value rises. Second, transparency: every TAG card comes with a digital report showing exactly why it earned its grade.
Pricing & payment
How much does it cost?
₱4,800 per card for 1–9 cards, or ₱4,600 per card for 10 or more. All-in — no separate fees — and includes protection for your cards while in our care. Currently on TAG’s Express service (30 business days).

Packing guidelines:
  • Place each card in a semi-rigid holder. We recommend Mugen Semi-Rigid Card Holders (50 pcs — ₱290), available from us in store.
  • Wrap each sleeved card in a small piece of bubble wrap or place inside a penny sleeve first for extra protection.
  • Pack cards snugly in a rigid box or thick padded mailer — cards should not shift around inside.
  • Include a printed or screenshot copy of your completed submission form inside the package.
  • Ship via an insured courier (LBC, J&T, Grab Express, etc.) and choose a service with tracking.
  • We strongly recommend recording yourself packing and sealing the package — this protects both sides.
Cards must arrive before the batch cut-off date. Batch 1 cut-off: June 30. Cards that arrive after the cut-off will be held for the next batch.
How do I get my cards back?
Once graded slabs return to the Philippines, we’ll contact you to arrange the return — free pick-up at a branch. We confirm this when your cards are actually back, so you’re not locked into a choice made months earlier.
Timing & tracking
When is the deadline for the first batch?
Our Batch 1 cut-off is June 30. Cards submitted and paid by then go in our first shipment to TAG.
How long does grading take?
Plan for about 3 months — roughly 10–14 weeks from when your batch ships to the USA. That covers preparation, international shipping both ways, and TAG’s grading queue.
We’d rather quote you honestly than promise a date we can’t keep — TAG’s queue and customs are partly out of our hands.
Can I track my cards?
Yes. We can assist you in creating a TAG account and add your cards to our group submission. You’ll get an order/batch number and can log in to see the status of your own cards only, start to finish.
Protection & what we promise
What if my card is lost or damaged in your care?
While your cards are in our care, they’re protected up to their declared value, to a maximum of ₱60,000 per card. Any claim is settled based on the card’s verified market value at the time of the incident — not simply the declared amount. During international shipping and at TAG, TAG’s own insurance and guarantee apply.
Will you take photos of my cards?
Yes — we photograph the front and back of every card at intake for your protection and ours, and give you a signed receipt.
Can you tell me what grade my card will get first?
We don’t predict or guarantee grades. Only TAG’s technology decides the final grade, and a lower-than-hoped result isn’t refundable. We do confirm your card is eligible for TAG grading at intake.
What can’t be graded?
TAG doesn’t currently grade Pokémon error cards, die-cut, lenticular, acetate, or sketch cards, printing plates, or memorabilia cards. Cards must be standard size (2.5″×3.5″), from 1989 onward, and ≤50pt thick. Full list: taggrading.com/pages/currently-grading.
How is my personal data handled?
We collect your name, contact number, and email to register your TAG account and manage your submission, in line with RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012). This information is also used to create an account for you directly with TAG, governed by TAG’s own privacy policy. Exercise your data rights at tag@herohubventures.com.
